Nothing wrong with a Taco! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy the new ride!
Thank you! It's actually my first truck and I knew I wanted something smaller than the Tundra or Silverado. So far it is a good ride hope to take it off roading maybe in a few months!
Mine is 2014 about same mileage as yours but just having hard time letting her go car is reliable as it can get.
Yeah. It has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. Not a single rattle but I wanted to try electric. No fuel and practically no maintenance. It's been a great week of driving for me.

I debated getting Model 3 but ended up ordering BMW M340i and still not sure if I should get into German cars for the long term.

Congrats! I looked at the 340 but the Model 3 Performance was much cheaper with tax incentives. Not really comparable though as the lifestyle of the two cars are apples and oranges.

Yeah I still like sound of exhaust. Lol. I might still bail out on my order though.
Congrats on the new truck. Tacos are great from my point of view in that they're still a usable size in the city, unlike full-size trucks. If I had the space for a truck and had some projects to do I'd look at the Taco first .

Off-topic, but yeah I agree. I am driving a Macan Turbo this weekend, and I am being reminded of why having an exhaust note is nice. As opposed to the induction sound of our IS for example...

That is an interesting conundrum. I think I want access to a truck but don't see myself owning one, if that makes sense... I've never really been a truck person but can acknowledge how nice it'd be to have one for some uses.
How much did you get for the trade in? I don’t see that many 3rd Gen IS350 for sale but I’m getting only 19k offered for my car.
Believe it or not, they gave me 28k. What I first did was get a price offer from Carvana and they offered me about 26k and told the dealer about it they came back with 27k and negotiated to 28k If you're looking to sell the Lexus see what Carvana will offer. Mine was a 2016 IS350 F sport fully loaded with 35k miles.

Try Carvana.

I thought the same thing but always wanted a truck. It has its pros and cons.

Thank you! I do plan on doing things with it just kinda want to get it at least halfway paid off before doing so.
chazzer - Congrats on your Tacoma - It is a great looking vehicle and while you praise the reliability of your IS, I have no doubt that your Tacoma will be just as reliable!! Great color and the TRD is a great choice I got rid of my IS about 2 weeks ago (mine was the 2017) for a 2019 RC and I still miss my IS as well, it was a great car but the RC is very similar inside so I don't feel too "out of my element" but I loved the refreshed look of the IS with its very polarizing front fascia.
Keep us posted but I am sure you will be very fond of your Tacoma
