Default Small rip in center console covering

Small rip in non-wear area of the console hatch. Car is only 1 1/2 years old.
As discussed here, that material seems delicate. I can’t imagine how it happened.
Not too bad, but I want to avoid expansion of the rip.
Warranty work? Cover with Sharpie? :-).
I am meticulous with the car.

Man! I know your pain, the issues I’ve had out this NuLuxe material hasn’t been the best. I’d recommend just using the simple vinyl repair systems that are available online or the auto parts stores. They run about $20-30US and I’ve had great success with them in my truck and boat in the past with small tears and cigarette burns from drunken passengers (boat of course). The hardest part was just matching up the colors. Again the size of that, it wouldn’t be hard to fix, and odds are once you did, even you wouldn’t notice it anymore.

Meh i'd just sharpie it and move on. not worth spending money on. you can get a vinyl patch kit too if it bugs you. if its that bad, just get a used piece off ebay.
