Seems like Metallic Black (Camry) and Caviar (IS) are the same color?
Seem like the Cockpit Red interior (Camry) is similar/same as our Rioja Red?
I saw a Camry commercial showing the red interior and it made me curious.
The Lexus seems to use "fancier" names for the same colors, LOL.

I looked up the paint codes for both 2019 Toyota/Lexus Metallic Black and yep they appear to be the same paint code #218. Metallic Black aka Attitude Black Pearl

The Attitude Black Pearl isn't offered on IS...as far as I know, at least around my parts.

That's the way I see it too. Caviar Metallic is 223 and Attitude Black Pearl is 218. I thought most of the 3IS used Obsidian (212)

When I went to get an estimate on my bumper the Toyota/Lexus collision service called the Caviar "Metallic Black" in the estimate.
Got me thinking. When I see a Metallic Black Camry it sure looks like my Caviar. I guess that since Toyota and Lexus are different brands,
the paint code numbers could be different. Also, when I ordered touch up for the Caviar paint code, the bottle did not say "Caviar",
as I recall. No big deal, I just thought that the Caviar naming fits the Lexus "style".

Yeah I can tell you without a doubt they’re not the same paint color. They may look alike, but the IS’s paint and the Camry paint are two totally different types of paints for starters. Color is close but when you see them side by side that’s where you’ll notice the difference, but they are two totally different formulas and kinds of paints. Kind of like a lacquer and acrylic if you will, both are types of paints, but both are different.
