2016 IS200T Exhaust
Anyone have any recommendations after having the exhaust for a while? I'm definitely looking for something not ricey. I haven'd had a ton of success finding quality videos of sound clips with new exhausts installed. I have seen the ARK and Tanabe exhaust videos, but they only show the car while it's stationary. I am mostly curious to see how they sound while moving.
the exhaust i've had my eye on the most though is the Apexi N1 Evolution.
This is the sort of tone I am looking for I think, but i'm curious to see what others have to say! Thanks!

I found stock to be great. No sense in adding a bunch of racket that will just attract cops and teens. Plus you can trade/return easier.
I find stock to be nice for this premium brand car. my 2 cents since you're curious what others have to say =)

Yeah save money and save hassle. The engineers did the hard work for us!
Exhausts are a thing of the 90s. Today, it's played out and only really seen in dangerous neighborhoods.
Exhausts (aftermarket) used to provide a benefit in that cars weren't optimized. Today, entire powertrains are computer optimized and bolting on an exhaust usually doesn't yield any power benefits. And if it does, it's at an unacceptable noise penalty, as noted above.

I have the Invidia Q300 axle back. Nice , deep tone but not very loud. It's hard to avoid the ricer sound with these cars. Would love if they sounded like an F30 or GTI but oh well.
There was a video on YouTube I stumbled across a few weeks ago of an RC200t with the non resonator Ark exhaust. Sounded very good and is the same motor as the IS. They are quite expensive though. I want to switch but can't justify spending that kind of money on an exhaust for a car that would be all bark and no bite.

I had it on when I had the stock exhaust, with the Tanabe exhaust on I haven’t had ASC turned on since.

To me, a car should not draw attention to itself with exhaust noise unless it's actually capable of performance. This means Corvette, 911, Ferrari.
You're basically saying: "COME N GET SOME BOYZZZZ" then you meow and crawl back into your cave. what's the point? lol just my 2 cents
