I'm having issues the moonroof drops down but then gets hung up on the drivers side and wont go any farther. Anyone else have this issue I cant find anything about it anywhere.

That's interesting. you may have to drop the headliner to see. a lot of work. something is binding obviously.

i wonder if this is a problem people will start posting about in 5 years time.

any issues with the moonroof before? any accidents or other damage? anyone work on it?

Not that I'm aware of, I just bought the car in February but nothing on the carfax about the sunroof or anything

Check out the flaps on the interior.. see if they are binding. take a pic of both sides on the inside of the car (or outside if that's where your access is) and post it. Maybe a piece of plastic got jammed.


happened to one guy on the CT forums. only one i saw though. he just removed the flap and the sunroof started working again. the motor on these things on most cars tend to reverse course if a certain resistance (binding) is detected within the motor circuit
