Default What's the fastest you've driven your 3IS?

17 300 F-sport AWD here, I was driving up to PA from DC this past weekend and there were no cops to be found, so I decided to test the car out and reached 115 mph (on Conti DWS06 tires). The car felt pretty stable at speed, but I am sure that it would have felt even more stable with Sport + and AVS if it was a 350. What's the fastest you've driven your IS? How did it feel at that speed?

I had my 2IS 350 up to 142, that is what they are limited to. I am not sure if the 3IS is the same as I have never tried. I didn't do it on a public street though, that's just not a very good idea for more reasons than just cops.

I reached 105 MPH once... It was like 1 AM, and there was basically no one on the highway. But, I immediately regretted it lol. However, it was interesting to see how the car felt at that speed. I think it's pretty smooth/uneventful. Didn't take too long to get there from 65 either.

146 or 148mph I think? Was having some fun with an e90 335i. Open stretch of freeway for miles, as far as the eye could see... felt stable. Was on Toyo Proxes 4 plus at the time. Pretty sure the BMW driver was doing 160+ cause he zoomed insanely quickly for how fast we were going

I always liked the toyo proxes, but they wear out fast though...

Just drove back from PA and had some fun on the turnpike with an built EVO X. We did many 50/60 to 140ish mph runs. Car really pulls from 3rd to 4th gear

Not too fast just 108. Not too many functional roads in NyC

Vegas to LA early morning hours no cars on the road for miles and miles. Hit 142mph with my buddy who was driving his GTI.

I would't advise going over 100 on these cars. They're fairly stable for what they are but the moment you try to turn, the rear end is going to walk on you. The rear subframe bushings are way too soft. See my old video i posted a long time ago showing the rear subframe movement. i put a camera underneath. tons of movement even at low speed. bad for high speed stability. good for comfort.

I would never take any major corners or bends in this car at above 100 lol. This was on the autobahn on a very long completely straight unrestricted portion haha.
