I'm intrigued by the route that more and more people are taking when it comes to PPF application. It's getting more popular to use XPEL Stealth (or other films for matte cars) on cars that are not matte from the factory, so that the entire car has the matte look once completed. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this option specifically for Atomic Silver and how the end result would end up looking. Know anyone who has done it, and are there any pictures that you would kindly be able to share?

Unfortunately I do not have photos but I have a few friends that have done XPEL stealth on their Silverstone S2000s with great results. I personally have XPEL on my S2000 and have had them on a few of my other vehicles but it was XPEL Ultimate, not Stealth - so no matte finish but the same great results. In my opinion however, while XPEL has the self-healing properties for basic blemishes, if you get a 'bad enough' blemish in the film of Stealth, it'll be far more noticeable than the one found within Ultimate.

i say just go with a quality ceramic coating. wraps really dont last as long as people claim.
CQuartz has good reviews if your looking for paint protection.

So correct me if im misunderstanding, but the XPEL Stealth if applied to my NGP paint, will make it have a matte finish?
