Question Seat Cushion Replacement

I bought a 2014 is 250 in pretty decent shape. The only thing that needed some work was a rip on the drivers seat cushion. So I bought a seat cushion on Ebay for a pretty good price but I just realized I couldn't find any Youtube videos on replacing it. I found videos on replacing the 2nd gen seats but that doesn't necessarily apply to the 3rd gen from what I saw. Does anyone have tips/ advice or videos that would help me out?

This isnt exactly what you're looking for, but it should help a decent bit.

Yes, I've seen this. I'm looking for a video to replace the bottom part, where you sit.

you'll likely need to remove the seat and use some hog ring pliers. the leathers are usually held on by tightly pulled hooks and rings around the bottom of the seat. after removing plastic trim, you should be able to see them. careful cause you can slice your finger. they're under very high loads.

not that bad of a job though. i used to do leather swaps on BMWs all the time. PITA so take your time

Thanks! I'll try this out. Had a hard time getting the plastic trim off but I'll try to figure it out.
