A collision involves two vehicles. Not sure what you mean - maybe "accident"?

Pretty self explanatory.. you can take out the word 'collision' and put whatever you want. Point is, it comes up on the carfax there was damage done to the car.

And no, a collision can also mean you struck an object (divider, tree, etc) in this case it being a pothole in the road
