Default Anyone run 17s for winters on FSport?

Anyone here run 17s for winter wheels on an AWD IS350 FSport?

Fast Wheels FC04 (Titanium) Wheels 17" x 8" 5/114.3 35
Fast Wheels FC04 (Titanium) Wheels 17" x 8" 5/114.3 45

Thinking of these but not sure if they'll fit. It's about time I get winters after 4 years lol

I got a set of GTS G505 Titanium.

https://www.zracing.ca/wheels/GTS-WH...-g505-titanium
17 x 8, 35 offset
Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 225/45/17

I think it'll look good on an Atomic Silver car.

I also run 17's for winter.
I have a set of 2IS rims (17x8) with 225/45/17.

From you original post, given the large calipers on the front, I would go with the lower offset (+35) rims all around...no need to run different offsets front to back or staggered for winter.

Ah ok. Yea I'd save so much more on cost. I hardly drive in winter as is but it's annoying when I do need to step out. You have a 3IS350 Fsport as well?

I wonder if Zeta tires any good for winter...

Gotta make sure those IS350 Calipers will clear the wheel! I was told (a while ago in 2015) that there wasn't many choices for the IS350... not sure if it's still the case. I got the RWC LX80 Anthracite for my 2015 IS350 F-Sport and now I switched to the 2018 IS350 F-Sport and still fits. Brakes are the same from 2015 to 2018 so no problem for me. Still pretty tight though!

Trying to find a place to order online since locally, every wheel/tire shop seems to watch gouge

I have an IS250 F Sport, but I have the 350 front brake conversion...so for the purposes of this thread it might as well be a 350.
Ironically I run Zeta tires for winter...I haven't had an issue...and I don't drive that much in winter either. I do about 10k Kms a year, so figure about 4500-ish during the winter.

The 350 front brakes are the same from 2006-2019...the rear brakes did change in 2014 when the 3IS body style arrived.

Lol so you run Zetas eh. Good to know. If you can survive on Zetas in Ontario winter [which amusingly was worse than Albertas], then I should be fine

I'm sure you guys north of the border have to worry a bit more about snow and ice than we do down here in the states, but I did put 17's on my 2014 IS 350 AWD for winter use a couple years ago.
Rather than worrying about clearing the calipers myself, I put the burden on TireRack.com, and ordered a set of set of wheels with tires and TPMS pre-mounted and balanced, so all I had to do was swap out my summer set for the new winter set, and program in the new TPMS values.
I went with about the cheapest wheels I could get (that still looked good), and Michelin X-ice tires, as I've had good luck with them on three other vehicles.

17x7.5 35mm offset Sport Edition A7 Silver ($97 US each (special/closeout))
225/45R-17 Michelin X-Ice XI3 ($143.22 US each)
315Mhz TPS ($56 US each)

with tax and shipping, the total damage was $1294.84 (US)

These are what I have with X-Ice. The dealer was $2,000+ tax.
PMC Tires offers the same package with programmable TPS sensors for $1831+tax and they ship within Canada for free.

Edit: I meant to quote the RWC wheel package above but oops.

I'm not paying $300 for that crap. I'll put some black tape over the light or something, as long as the tape can be easily removed after I switch back to summer wheels.

I just live with the light on all winter...and check my pressures periodically...same as I did before TPMS was invented.
