My 2014 IS’s sunroof is open at a tilt, and will not close. I’ve looked at the track and don’t see anything obstructing. I’ve pressed the “down” and “close” button. I’ve held them both down as well and nothing. Also, now it’s raining here in Arizona so that’s great. It’s not crazy hot temps, and I’ve never had this problem before. Please help!

Hey AZ buddy! Try disconnecting the battery for 20-30 minutes. Lets the ecu reset. If that doesnt fix it you have a motor issue...

Did you check the fuses to make sure none are blown?

Start playing detective. Check obvious things like the fuse first, as said. If it's good, then check the switch. pull the panel down. you can check w/ multimeter to see if switch gets power. could be a mechanical jam too. least likely is the motor. but it can happen.
any mods, any accidents, anything to note? any issues before?

To be clear, nothing happens when you push the button?
Does it try to go down and bounce back up? An obstruction (like the weather strip) will cause it to just go back up after trying to go down. Does it sound like anything is trying to happen?
