Not today, but I changed my spark plugs this weekend. I was amazed at how much easier it was than my old Subaru was, but getting my hands into the small crevices nearly tapped me into submission. I was pretty surprised that no matter how hard I looked, none of the DIYs that I found were quite what I needed for my car (2015 IS 350 F-Sport RWD), but they got me close enough to finish it out.

Also, first post on here! Been lurking and learning for quite some time though.

Would you say this tutorial is fairly accurate?

That's the one I wound up using. The biggest difference was that a few of the clips were different on the driver's side, as well as an additional wiring harness or two to unclip (of course, at an absolutely suboptimal angle). I never managed to get nearly as much slack on the engine wiring harness as he did, but it walked me through enough to make sense of what I was looking at.

My new square setup wheels/tires came in today. Got them installed. Gotta love America Tire and their price match policy...

Bad pics, but you get the idea.

Detail day!

Rioja Red NuLuxe after 11k miles. Not fully matte until the protectant settles and off-gases over the next 24 hours or so.

Single or dual dashcam? Dual dashcam is on my list.

I never thought about two single dash cams. Can you explain what is the advantage to doing it that way?
I would have the local car stereo/alarm store install it for me. Thanks.

1. Dual dashcam usually didn't have the same resolution on the front and rear.
2. Dual dashcam only uses 1 memory card which I think is a major disadvantage, imagine if the SD card fails.
3. When I started on investing on dashcams, there are few duals which were ridiculously expensive to my taste.
4. This particular brand Viofo - does have a dual version, but they have mixed reviews.

I never had a dual dash cam so maybe I'm biased. I'm sure a lot of CL members have duals and they can always chime in.

Is your radar detector mounted via the blendmount?
How do you have the camera mounted to the detector?

This dashcam came with adhesive holder mounting bracket. So I just stick it under the radar detector housing. The radar detector is the one attached to the mirror mount.

i have the same detector on a blend mount. I’ve been looking at dashcam options and I’m just wondering how well the cam will hold with just adhesive.

So far it's holding up well. Now the real test will be summer time due to heat. I used to attached this dashcam(with GPS) under the Safety System Camera plastic cover, which is shiny and a bit slippery, and during a very hot summer day, I always find the dashcam hanging for dear life(adhesive getting detached).

As you all know, it's winter now in east coast and I will have many months to enjoy this setup.
