You talking about me “disrespecting him” is ironic indeed.
I don’t know who taught you otherwise, but respect has to be earned, as I said, through actions.. Otherwise it would be a commodity with no real value. For that very reason, it is not given to drivers who almost killed someone by knowingly driving very unsafe on public roads.
besides, I did not make any disparaging comments, other than pointing out that facts...
Knowing or not knowing him personally is irrelevant in the light of those facts.

I know is he did not respect other people’s lives (and his own), judging by how many citations and for which violations he got them for.

Yeah the number of citations is absurd. Before reading into all that on his history my opinion of the matter changed quite a bit. I can relate to doing something dumb which could of tuned out much worse.....but 7 times in a school zone...geez. And thats just what he was caught for.

On top of that, he was NYPD. You are supposed to uphold and enforce the law, not break it blatantly thinking you are above the law.
I think in this case people should not be criticized for lacking sympathy.
Thankfully, no one driving home to their wife and kids after working a ten hours day was involved.

Looks as though there was a bend to the right, but he was on a hwy I believe so couldn't of been so sharp to be the cause of the accident. Come to think of it, more driver error than anything...he lost traction and braked just before hand yes, but that was a sharp left he took for the car to just do that by itself. I guess if he lost enough traction nothing he could do, especially with TC off.
