Remote start on IS ??
#16
Just wanted to share my experience with my 2014 and remote start.
When I purchased my car (2014 IS) from Sewell Lexus, my salesman (who was actually a great guy, super accommodating and helpful and made sure I was happy) explicitly stated my car was compatible with the Enform remote control start, and a service tech told him it was also (I walked back there with him). After I bought the car, I came to find out that day after trying to get it setup, many calls to the dealership service center and the Enform customer service, ect, It was determined it was not compatible for my vehicle. I was really looking forward to the Enform remote start feature, and it was partly a selling point for me, so I was quite disappointed and brought my car to the dealer and spoke to my salesman.
I was very calm and cool about it, but I did tell my salesman that he sold me the car that did not have a feature that he 'sold' me on. So Sewell made the decision to do right by me and they took my car to Car Toys to have an aftermarket remote start installed, at no cost to me. This is one of the many reason I love Sewell and they have earned my future business.
I am not sure which model / brand remote start they installed but it works flawlessly and is integrated in my my OEM key fob (3 lock presses).
