IS 300h radio part.num 86140-53161 not working
Hey,
My 2013 Lexus is 300h has gotten a new problem and i cannot seem to find any information about anything like this expect on some russian forums.
The problem is that my whole infotainment system has gone into a so called "bootloop" See picture below, i have also linked a picture of the radio model.
It never fully completes the download seen in the picture and just starts again continuously. I had it checked at Toyota near me and only thing they could come up with was replacing the radio but only the radio costs me 994 Euros.
What i have found out about the problem from reading some russian forums, is that the problem is in the radios Nand memory and there are reports of companies fixing them but all of the companies are russian.
Has anybody else experienced anything like this and could have maybe found a fix other than replacing the whole thing?
More information : No Navigation
Radio information
What the screen looks like

Welcome to the forum.
The condition you describe has happened to 2014 models, but they have navigation, and the issue is caused by the radio.
I don't think we've had a non navigation vehicle over here do that same thing.
I noticed you took a pic of the radio label...did you completely remove/disconnect the radio for the pic?
Why I ask is because my first suggestion was going to be disconnecting the car battery (12V) for a minimum of 10 minutes, then try reconnecting it and starting the vehicle.

Yes, what i had forgot to previously add is, that i took the car to my local toyota service and they took the radio out to try and diagnose the problem.
Before taking my car there i did try taking the battery off for 30 minutes and reconnecting after that, but there was no change.
After googleing for a while im fairly certain that the problem that people with navigation and the problem that im having is different.

The navi units usually have two problems: 1. Blank screen, and 2. Endless reboot (which is the issue you're having)
The display is controlled by the radio, so the only thing it can be is the radio.
If there is a company that can fix it in Russia, that may be your only choice outside of finding another radio.
