Hi all.

I have a IS 300 AWD with the Terrible Turanzas EL 400. Only 17,800 miles. The rear tires are fine. The front will need replacing. Getting ready to turn in the lease and lease another Lexus. Can the fronts be replaced with a different Bridgestone like the Potenza A/S? The Turanzas are $250 a pop whereas the Potenzas are half that. Ebay doen't have any lightly used Turanzas either.

I don't think you need to have the same type of tire. If you have any doubts, check your lease contract or ask the dealership.

From past Leasing experience, it does not have to be the same brand. As long as you get name brand, of equal performance, they don't really care.

I returned my lease with used, different branded front tires. No problem.

Their lease return instructions tells you what they're looking for as far as remaining tire life

Do you know if we're required to return the car to the same dealership you leased from?
