Default Flat/Wallet Key, current part #/source?

Search is failing me, so posting here--

I'm looking for that mystical wallet smart fob key. I've seen a few part numbers thrown around in the past, as well as a few different sources, trying to narrow down

Who are people sourcing from these days? Anywhere with a CL discount, perchance?
What part number am I looking for?
What's the procedure in Techstream to program? I can follow directions pretty well, not sure if there's a guide around.
Where do people like to get the key cut? I'm in the SF Bay, but happy to mail, heard good things about 1010keys on ebay, not sure if they do this fob...

Thanks as always for the help!

Part Number is 89904-53511 (from lexuspartsnow) and blank key is 69515-30350 and you should be able to take it to a lock smith that can cut dealership keys which would be cheaper unless the dealer doesn't charge much. Lastly you will need a CR2412 cell battery that you can purchase at any local store or eBay which sells by the pack cheaper than your local store.

I always heard that the credit card remote transmitter fob does not contain a key inside of it, it is simply the transmitter with no buttons on it so you can use keyless entry.

Our normal fobs have a small key hidden inside, but from my understanding the key card does not. Am I wrong?

So if that is the case, and are still interested, then you would only need the card and have it programmed, no need to purchase a blank key and have it cut.

the part number provided for the blank key actually says it’s for the card fob. So I’m assuming it does fit a hidden key in it.

I'll try just purchasing the fob and report back--is there a good guide for programming a key in Techstream? Also, a friend apparently has a used one that fits mine, is it possible to re-program his?

Viewing pictures of it on the web, there appears to be a key slot on the end, opposite the battery compartment.

Alright, looks as I was mistaken, I could have sworn I remember reading a while back about the card not having the key, but I'm prolly just remembering someone mentioning no buttons instead. Looks like the card fob does have a key. Sorry for the mistake/confusion.

I ordered mine on partsmonster. I think it came from Bell Lexus. Under $300. And yes you can get a key for them.

No...once a key is programmed to a car, it can only be used with that car...it cannot be programmed to another car.
