Did the IS 350 F Sport ever have memory seats (there located near the door handle) and did it ever have automatic tilt telescoping steering wheel (button on left side of steering wheel)
It looks like the 350 F Sport Ultrasonic Blue with the Dynamic Handling Pkg that Mike video'd at the racetrack did NOT have either of these options. That's a bummer these options are not included considering this car is $50k

Would also love a wood trim option. But I haven't read a thing about it thus far in all the press releases. I think it may be a Japan thing or an accessory.

Looks a lot like my car's Carbon Steel Gray, or Kia's Panthera Gray. Not a bad look I'd say!

Build and price is up, with the ML and DPH im passed 50k and kinda on the fence about that msrp, I'm a first time lexus buyer if I go with this car, do they do proper incentives and discounts a few months into being on sale?

Edit: I was able to price out an AWD model with most of the options for $56k MSRP. Way more than I thought it would be.

Isn't it sad that the only thing BMW has going for it is the additional hp of the M340i which costs $15000 extra and that it appeals to badge snobs with no imagination?
I read this quote(not exact) by a motoring journo once that seems to apply to BMW's situation : " Horsepower is the consolation prize of an un-involving chassis."
Not to say that the G20 is a uncommunicative drive but used to be BMW could sell purely on its telepathic steering feel and chassis communication/engagement with the driver, without having to play horsepower oneupmanship but nowadays, cars like the 3rd Gen IS and G70 are beating BMW at its own game of handing/chassis tuning.

The current Lexus IS to me is an okay car, I think if you're driving the car sanely, you can't really tell much of a difference in the chassis. But unfortunately the 330i has more tech like 360 surround view camera and a higher resolution map. Also with the turbo charge 4 still boosting more torque than the IS350 at a lower RPM makes it feel more playful and the torque is something you can use on normal streets. Full torque comes in at a low rpm of 1550.
Really excited see the refinements of the upcoming IS.

That little M badge on the M340i is just a poser badge. After auto crossing the M340i and my F82 M4, the M340i is quite lacking. ZF auto transmission is not a sharp or quick as DCT. Shame BMW got rid of the DCT. Not worth the upcharge and it's not a true M product. I had a 330i for a loaner and I would say it's good for the price. I have a tough choice between the 2021 IS 350 F Sport and the BMW 330i upcoming. I get corporate discounts off BMWs but not off Lexus, plus I do like the free maintenance from BMW because they give free loaner cars. I love the 2021 IS design, much better than the 3IS front.
