Here is where i found it. http://www.autolightsbulbs.com/2014-.../K1124588.aspx

Turns out both of my headlights have cracks in them. They have a "recall" on the headlights for 2014-2015 Lexus. Mine falls into this but my warranty doesn't.

Quote from Lexus dealership. $4000 for both headlights LOL
Just bought the car 3-4 months ago cause Lexus cars are reliable and then BAM! most expensive problem ive ever had on a car.

I bought the car used from a Toyota dealership figured they were reliable. I didnt fully trust their inspection on it so i gave them a contingency. Contingency was for me to get it inspected by my mechanic. They came back with contingency for "mechanical problems". So i figured that was better than nothing. Headlight condensation doesnt fall under mechanical. Those *******s knew about the headlights.

ya that’s sucks. i always wondered how the previous owner didn’t notice on mine. if he would had he could of had it fixed under warranty no problem. but once I bought and saw it i was about 8k miles out of warranty.

Lexus dealership quoted $2k to replace it. I bought the headlight online for $500 and had a mechanic friend do it for $300. That’s your best bet. Buy online and find someone to replace it.

Had my DRL replaced, but instead of taking it to a mechanic ($120-150/hour) or dealership (140-170/hour), took it to a body shop ($45-55/hour). Body shop rates are controlled by the state via the insurance commission, which is lobbied by ins carriers such as State Farm, Allstate, etc. for extremely low rates.

Most body shops can do any exterior or interior work so long as they stay away from the drivetrain. Many will even do electronics. They will also negotiate a much lower parts cost (~30% lower) for OEM from the dealership.

Dealer cost to replace one DRL was ~$980 total, local mechanic ~$725, body shop was $550.

Just another option, even if you buy your own parts.

WSent ahead and replaced lights today and my passenger low beam still didnt come on,we noticed the computer modules are both the same for the low beam and high beam light we swapped them and my low beam now comes on but the high beam won't ,it's the damn computer module ,but shoot my low beams look good now ,and Mann the lights fit so damn good on it ,either way they were both showing signs of condensation on the inside and man the new headlights look freaking awesome ,so just something to try swapping computer modules in case your high beams and blinker works but low beams don't ,each headlight has 2 on the back of headlamp assembly one for low and high beam , they both have 3 screws each and module just hooks up to a little wiring harness ,nothing crazy once number is off

QUOTEThey are bright and they look good on the vehicle ,bulbs are not changeable ,the only flaw about them is that they do shine so hard that it leaves damn near a strip of ultraviolet blue at what you are looking with the lights ,so it reflects on the street signs to the point where it reflects like a light ultra violet purple on white street signs ,I mean I had a buddy tell me the Blue strip from the lights looks cool but I think mainly is just adjusting the light positioning to where it's comfortable to your eyesight when driving,so basically the operation may not be exact oem quality but the fit is just like OEM quality so image wise on your car they're gonna look badass ,only thing to keep in mind is the possible bluish/purple strip on the top of what the actual light is pointing at

NO but after I changed lights I realized the one light I had trouble with still didnt work because of the computer being out ,I took the high beam computer and moved it to the low beam and it worked ,all the CPU for a 4 lights are the same ,so I still need a CPU if I want to use my high beams, but shoot my low beams work

Hi, here in Canada we have HID Headlamp assembly for F-Sport (probably because ice does not melt well on LED) and mine have condensation in it. Do you know if there is a difference between standard and F-Sport HID Headlamp assembly. On Rockauto I can see VARIOUS manufacturer that is cheaper than TYC that says F-Sport. I know that Various manufacturer maybe is not passing all the regulation. When I try to pull out the OEM PN it pulls LED assembly...Thanks in advance

I don't see official recall for it.
