The wire of the cap is not a good design at all, when the weather gets cold, the wire gets so stiff sometimes it is not possible to wrap it around the 'correct' way. Had my service advisor tell me to cut the wire off and the issue is basically gone. And also, had gas station attendants constantly tangling my wire, slamming the gas cap against my fender-- no warning lights, wish I had done this sooner.
