Not only that, but they also stopped using Jatco transmissions when they decided to develop their own transmissions in-house and that alone improved their reliability greatly.

I had the Q40 that lasted 6 months. It's a very nice car but unfortunately, the design of the seat was not for me - gave me back pains (15-minute daily driving).

Never had any back pains on my IS doesn't matter where I go.

That’s incorrect, their quality had improved before then already. That joint plant in Alabama is BARELY even being built. It’s not even up and running yet.
