Headlight Adjustment
Hey y'all I just picked up a 2014 IS350 base model, I am 6 feet tall and sit pretty high up in the seat and I feel like the headlights are pointed straight down. Even with the high beams on I feel like I struggle to see farther then before when I had a base model civic with some cheap amazon LEDs. Anything I can do about this? Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend adjusting the headlights yourself as it takes some precision to aim them correctly. Your best bet is to take it to the dealership and ask them to adjust them.

OP - I agree with yardie876....Get a professional shop to make sure it is done correctly.
Just a thought here, you should try and see if you could take another IS for a test drive and see if it is truly an issue. I am not doubting your knowledge of cars but as you know, HID light are much more focused than the conventional headlight which is more diffused....so coming from your Civic, the light beam is very sharp and may not give the same type of light beam that you normally are used to.

^^ I agree, the part that the HID shine on is incredibly well illuminated - then the beam just cuts off to total darkness. I have the triple LED beam on my RC and I have to admit that I am not noticing a huge difference from the HID I had on my IS, but it is a bit better. Aesthetically though, they look great (until I have to pay to replace them)

You dont need to take it to a dealer or anyone else. I only felt I needed to rside mine after lowering the vehicle, but I did myself..
Pull up about 5ft off a wall and raise the beam to where the light goes up .5-1 inch tops. Try it out. Be very conscious of how the adjustment went that you're not blinding traffic or that your below the side views of the car 5 or so lengths in front of you.

i also did the adjustment myself and biggest thing was thinking something might break but it went okay and drastically changed both sides.
i may need to lower my driver side a bit bit a philips screwdriver and at 5-30 turns and a wall is all you need
