2016 IS350 f sport ML speakers
Hey CL,
was wondering what speakers you guys are using on your car? I can find speakers for most of the car from crutchfield, but not for the front doors.

i think your year may be different than mine but here's what i got based on Member sixbanger
Model: SAK132

if its the same as 2014, then it will make installing 6.5"s which will greatly increase the available Speakers you want to put in

The front door speakers on most 3G model IS's, if I recall correctly, are a 7" mid-range mini woofer on non ML systems, and a 7.1" on the ML systems. A 7" speaker is very odd size and not many option for direct replacement. The best bet, if you want to replace the door speakers, as GR3Y5H3ART suggested, is to get an adapter plate allowing you to mount 6 1/2's in the door. That opens you up to endless options as there are a lot of great 6 1/2 options out there.
For me, I have a pretty killer audio system (imo) I installed in my car, I actually left the front door speakers alone and replaced everything else.
I went with some Infinity Kappas 6.5's in the rear, and some high end Focal speakers on the front dash speakers ( I can't remember the exact model # they are), They are only 4" speakers but they actually sound incredible. I think the OEM dash speakers were only 2" but the 4" focals I got fit in there .. yay! The mids and highs sound crystal clear, I love them. My plan was to start with that and see how it sounded and upgrade the door speakers to 6.5's later if I felt the need. As of right now I have no desire to do so, my system sounds fantastic as is (imo).
I also run a JL Audio 12W6V2 Sub in the truck, With an Alpine PDX-V9 Amp & LC7i Audio control unit.
Currently I am using my amp to power the Focal Dash Speakers, the front door OEM speakers, and the sub, then have my stock headunit powering the 6 1/2 rear speakers. I love my setup and everyone who hears it usually compliments the quality of sound in my system so I am quite happy with my current setup.
