Default Axel removal for Frs diff swap on 3is

Hi I’m planning on swapping my diff for the lsd from the Frs and I had a few questions about it before I start and was hoping you guys can help ! So I was wondering if I MUST remove the axel from the hub in order to remove the other end from the oem diff.. and if I do, will I just be removing the hub completely then unbolting the axel from the hub ? Or would I be able to leave the hub and the axel together and just lower the diff then the other end of the axel will slide out of the diff once lowered enough ? Sorry if I might sound confusing I’m kinda new to working on my car and everything haha so any tips and tricks would help too thanks !!

Any luck on your question? Looking to do the same diff swap from a 2013 frs to a 2015 IS250 and am trying to figure out the axles on the Lexus. Thanks
