Default Film on the rear bumper

I just bought a 2014 IS 350 and it has some kind of film on the top of the rear bumper. It runs about 2/3 the length and covers everything front to back. It has a bunch of spots and scratches that look like rust but it doesn’t come off with any scrubbing so I guess whatever it is, it’s between the film and bumper. First, is this stock? And secondly, how can I removed it?

what do you mean it covers everything front to back?

I have the Lexus film but it had the "Lexus" printed on it. Look it up on a dealers website all the oem ones look the same. If yours is a plain clear film I would think it is not oem.
These films oem or not will simply peel off. They're designed to not cause any harm with removal. Using heat like from a blow dryer will assist with removal.

It’s OEM and there to protect your bumper from scratches taking out and putting stuff in the trunk.

I meant that it covered the top of the bumper and down the back about 2”. Regardless, it’s gone now. A bit of heat gun and a bunch or Goo Gone and scrub, scrub, scrub. It’s nice and tidy underneath - looks perfect now. Maybe I’ll replace it - kinda liked the logo.

Yeah I definitely left mine on to protect that part of the bumper.
