Without knowing what the code(s) are, it would be a blind guess.
If the check engine light is not on, then the code will be in the brake system more than likely.
As only Powertrain codes are required to be OBD II compliant, a regular scanner may not be able to pull the codes.

Not sure if your car is AWD or RWD, but I've attached the repair manual diagnostics for C1410.
Basically if all the wiring to the speed sensor, and connector, look ok, then you need a speed sensor.
If it's RWD, then you will need the left front wheel bearing/hub assembly which has the sensor in it.
If you have AWD, then you just need the sensor itself...which is seperate from the hub/bearing assembly.
For the C146E code, simply check the ABS No.1 fuse to make it's not blown. If it's ok, don't worry about the code until you get the speed sensor fixed.
