Lexus 3IS Triple Headlight Swap
Hi Everyone,
Im looking to swap out my Current headlights on my 2018 Lexus 3IS F-Sport to the JDM Triple Beam Headlights, although i had questions
1) Is this swap plug and and play?
2) Other than the Ballast would i need anything else to make it work as if it was OEM? (Auto High-Beams, High-Beams, Low Beams, Turn Signals and Emergency Lights)
3) How is the light pattern since its a RHD headlight vs a LHD Headlight?
4) Is it possible to adjust the light pattern from RHD to LHD or at least to be more centered? (A person who did the swap had told me it was possible to adjust the light output more to the right/center)
Any help would be appreciated on this and look forward to grabbing me a set to put on my car.
Thank you

JDM triple beam headlights Swap Done
1) Yes, Need the ballast to work for High Beam
2) No, Nothing else was needed to be done and all work as OEM
3) Pattern is perfect, but i had them adjusted for LHD Roads to be more centered and no blind the other people as well as the height.
4) Yes, they were centered more a bit it seems like, at night i noticed it wasn't blinding other drivers and tested it with my other car on incoming traffic, my car is also lowered on bags about 2in all around so didn't affect drivers nor my own vision on driving.
Just swapped out my OEM Headlights with the JDM Triple Beam Headlights Two days ago and all i can say i love them and the light output is perfect, i thought it would hinder due to it being for RHD but with it being adjusted i can say that i am more than happy with the outcome and will be taking more pics.
The only thing i got on my dash is "Headlight System Uninitialized Visit your Dealer" I heard i need to go to a dealer and get my ECU reset as this is for the auto leveling. But it goes away when you swipe though and doesn't affect my driving whatsoever.
Going to go get this checked out and see if they can do it for me.

I was lucky enough to buy them from a local seller who wanted to get rid of them from his Lexus 3IS so i went to go buy it form him local.
Saved me a lot on taxes, shipping and sourcing them but i have seen them on ebay from Japan for about $900/Light and about $150-$200/Ballast not including Shipping or tax fees.
The lights would be under
Lexus IS Xe30, ASE30 or 81185-53880

havent checked back here for a while so my bad.
Yeah i have them here for you and how they look on the car
I love them!, i get that the headlights cant be adjusted but from my research this is normal for our cars as Triple beams dont auto level like the our USDM Oem ones it seems but can be swiped away on your steering wheel and only comes backwhen you turn on the car but never when you drive after swiped.
Reach out to me on insta if you have anymore questions.

Part Numbers in the U.S. for reference for others
always get questions on part numbers for the U.S. and here they are for people to buy from the dealer on the ballast!
As for purchasing these triple beams its still very hard to find in the U.S. but there are many on Buyee yahoo and just need to import them which cost about $1350 with no ballast to bring to the U.S.!

Once done the Auto Leveling of the headlights will work Meaning the headlights will level its height based on the cars height using the afs system that's in the driver side rear of the car near the camber and traction arm (silver arm).

Forgot to update on that, yes I did get this fixed after I had my ECU Reset! Can also use tech stream to initialize the new headlights as I heard it's straightforward to do.

I wonder if it's the same steps on a non F-Sport model.

The ballast/headlight computer that you have are from aliexpress (89907-53010 L026 | 89908-53010 R026)
Good to know that it works though!
JDM part numbers (same as USDM):
81016-53010 = Right
81056-53010 = Left
