‘15 is250 f sport No audio sound.
I’ve done endless searching and can’t get a definitive answer. Maybe some else has experienced my current issue.
As I was driving listing to the radio having my volume set at 26 and I heard from my rear deck a popping/crackling sound. Within a matter of seconds all audio quit working. All my functions on my display work but no matter the mode I’m in I cannot adjust volume not hear anything. A few info I gathered is that the amp may have quit working causing the no audio output.
I own a 2015 is250 f sport non ML sound system with Navi. I doubt mileage has anything to do with this but currently at 34k miles.
So my questions are:
Has anyone experienced the same symptoms?
Is there an alternative upgrade amp I should be looking into rather than replacing it with a stock?

sounds like your amplifier went bad based off other audio issues i've read

Based on the countless threads of the same concern, it's the amp.
The easy fix is to find the same part number amp, that way it will be plug and play.
If you want to change the amp to another type, then you will need to make the connection from the vehicle harness to whatever amp you want to use.
It's not impossible, just a little more work than replacing it with an OEM one.
