Am i totally screwed or is there something i can do on my own to fix it or is this a done deal and i have to get a new dash. No i dont have warranty. Please help.

did you jump the car correctly -- positive to positive, negative to somewhere grounded within the engine bay? sometimes with modern cars it's advisable to let the dead car charge for a period of time and then shut off the power source (the other vehicle) to prevent electronic damage.

anyhow, something similar happened to me when a neighbor jumped my car, although the entire cluster was black. i had to check every fuse and one of them was blown. hence the question/suggestion above. check your fuses and relays.

yea i made sure before i connected i knew where the correct connections were, also made sure the cables didn't touch each other. I like to think im pretty mechanically handy,im not a mechanic but i do all my maintenance on my own except for major repairs.
just frustrating because i dont understand why my battery would of been dead. its a new battery less than 6months.
I saw that there is a recall or repair ticket for our displays is that correct here.

That link is referring to the center screen (audio/nav/settings/etc.) in the car.

glad to see it worked out in your favor. modern electronics are tricky and jump starting a car is always a risk when doing so from another vehicle that may have a higher power output than your car (unless i misunderstood everything the lexus dealership service department told me).
