Default Infotainment screen, Gauge cluster plastic, and Clock damage...(lots of pics)

want to thanks Member CharlieRC for recommending PLEXUS

i believe there's a 7oz. but i opted for the 13oz in case i ran out....still think its a bit pricey but it does work

Amazon Amazon

there's also the option to buy the entire cover or get it replaced under Warranty dependent on your current miles

Prep time was about 70%...being patient the other 30%

my car was in an Underground parking lot and its always cooler in there so it was about 40F...could be easier in warmer weather

1. I grabbed a couple bags i was going to toss out after another project and they came in handy:

the previous owner may have had it sitting out in the sun or a car wash guy used the wrong product?

Nice work...looks 100% better than before.
If you look hard you can see some of the old marks still, but a vast improvement.

Pretty sure the previous owner tried to clean the dash with an angry raccoon, cause wow the amount of scratches!

What tools did you use to clean the instrument cluster and the clock?

found a couple videos...theres also a Diet company and some sort of Back pain relief tool so to SEARCH on Youtube...i would type in something like "plexus auto cleaner motorcycle"

Microfiber or very low dust fiber towel or cloth...does not recommend Terry Towels, Paper Towels, and probably Kleenex + the Spray + Patience + very light Buff (circular or straight across)

if yours look as bad as mine do...i would recommend Prepping well as it will lead to excess clean up in the end

hope this helps

A lot of people don’t try that method because they think it’ll be hard to find an angry raccoon.

But they’re wrong.

You can start with a happy raccoon, and it’s automatic from there.
