nice job came out well, i tried plasti dipping the bottom trim where the fogs are black but it didnt go too well the paint pulled right off along with the tape, im gonna try vinyl wrapping it black next time
From here that looks awesome!
I tried does mine by completely disassembling the grill (i had the bumper off to install fog lights).
It still didn't look that good, and now the upper corners on the inside are starting to peel away.
That's what I get for using Vvivid vinyl.
Looks really good. I’ve been wanting to do it for a while on my atomic silver, 0 experience wrapping and not really trying to learn...
What would you guys say is a fair price to have a shop/someone do it.

I've worked some with Vvivid and 3M and my theory is the Vvivid may actually better in this application just be cause it's more pliable.
Mine chrome trim was done with 3M di-noc and it was so strong hard to get it to sick on the real bends.
Below you can see where mines peeling. But, this was my 1st with this kind of thing. Took a couple months for that the peel. Did it over a year ago. And about 100 of my 10,000 rock chips on the front end
In terms of brand.. Vvivid is far superior to 3m gloss black. FAR superior. the 3m looks like plastic bag material and peels and/or wrinkles fast. nearly 2 years later, my vvivid looks like paint still. and that's a massive compliment coming from me. always go vvivid. vvivid is also far thicker than 3m. 3m feels like sandwich bag. super thin.
Looks good! How big was the vinyl sheet? What was needed to install? Just a exacto knife and heat gun? Thanks!
you're going to want wrap gloves, heat gun, and a proper cutting knife (not exacto) go for red dot knife or similar. Also watch a lot of videos or you will cut your car especially if its your first time.
if you do further wrapping on other parts, you'll want cutting tape. safer and more consistent than a knife.
