Lmk what you guys think. I am considering doing the chrome smoked out / gloss black, not sure yet.

I think the carbon mirrors would look ok with the black roof.
The black roof will look good with or without the mirrors.
If you added a few more exterior carbon pieces to complement the mirror, I think it would look really good then. Basically I'm saying to add a little more carbon to balance out the black.
The carbon mirrors by themselves just look odd...just my opinion though.

I'm not a fan of the wrapped roofs. I also agree with Sasnuke. You should add a rear carbon spoiler. https://www.ebay.com/itm/REAL-Carbon...53.m1438.l2649

That spoiler actually looks really good, I have the one from factory, how would I go about uninstalling that one and installing this one?

You go first, then tell me. Pretty sure you are going to have to plug the factory holes and that is something you do NOT want to mess up. Probably some bolts, rubber or teflon washers, and some nylock nuts, so they never get loose. I want the same spoiler, but will paint it either white or gloss black.

You don't think you can use the same holes again and drill into the new spoiler?

I would not even attempt that. That spoiler just sticks on with 3m tape and is most likely not thick enough for drilling.

Both carbon, and I love it! Next step is to black out the grille.

Looks good but do the bases. Reason being is this is how Lexus does them from the factory when they offer colored mirrors. So it looks half done without.

Here's my CT.. same mirrors as IS. (the roof is factory painted) but mirrors and bases are wrapped... along with windshield posts, mirror triangles, pillars, and trim. all courtesy of moi

The problem with the base is that apparently they have to take a part some components in the door to wrap that. Also, when companies sell carbon fiber mirror caps, they only do the actual mirror component, not the base, so it doesn't really matter tbh. I think the person who wanted to wrap my base wanted exponentially more money so I didn't get that done.

You can wrap it yourself. you don't need to remove anything. i left mine on and wrapped as is. try it.
