I use a Sea Sucker to carry my mountain bike on the IS. No hitch needed and I don't like the ones that strap to the trunk.

Same here I use the Sea Sucker to carry my Road bike..I have the single one but they make ones that can carry up to 3 bikes.

Yeesh - expensive - my bike is only around $700!! Do you HAVE TO take off the front tire alla time?

I don't have an issue taking off the wheel and tossing it in the trunk. I prefer that over needing to install a hitch or having a rack that straps to the trunk scratching my paint.
