Default RCF/GSF Brembo Brakes on IS 200t FSport

Looking at the RCF/GSF Brembo big brakes noticing that caliper mounting looks similar to the IS200t FSport/IS350 shape.
Of course the rotor is a lot larger (380mm) and will need a 19" higher wheel, compared to the (334mm)

Has anyone successfully tried this big brake upgrade?
You can buy these calipers dirt cheap about $350 each NEW.

A few people have done this upgrade. I can’t find the thread on it but for the rear you need a custom bracket to fit the 2 piston calipers. If I remember correctly, the fronts you can swap out no issues. I also believe they only clear with the F Sport wheels but not the non f sports.

Cool Thanks!

I bought the rotors, pads, and waiting on the calipers now. I have 19i" wheels, still sourcing out to find a 19" donut/spare Lexus wants $1200-$1600 for the RCF spare wheel (rim only). I saw in the forums someone went with ISF 18" spare and 25mm spacer that barely touches, but those are for the ISF Brembo brakes.
did find it cheaper to buy the rotors directly from Brembo and Brembop pads via Ebay.

I'll post pics as I start to do my build.

These are not the ISF calipers. these are the calipers found on the RC F and GS F, super big brake 380mm diameter rotors, (15inch)

I was just talking about this yesterday and how the brakes on the IS350 are overly sufficient if anything.
I think those brakes would be awesome don't get me wrong, but just curious why such a big upgrade? Do you track/race the car or is this more for cosmetic appeal? Whats the reason for this choice over the direct replacement IS350 brakes? I've no idea what the cost difference is or anything.

Yes agreed, the IS350 brakes are enough. Mostly for the looks just like new wheels and if emergency stopping when on the highway, it's there.

Right on, well it'll definitely compliment the wheels and be very unique.

I just purchased the rear caliper adapters from 350PHI this evening as the final parts needed. Just waiting for Lexus to send the one of the calipers due to them being back order for the Brembo Orange ones.

As soon as I get them on the car will post pics.
Mind sharing the links for where you purchased, etc?

This is a good place for OEM parts site called Discount Parts Monster aka Toyota of Hollywood (Florida) on average cheaper than Lexus sites.
https://www.discountpartsmonster.com/
They make 3 colors of Calipers Black, Blue and Orange, read carefully.

Don't forget the Hardware fittings kit for the pads. (They were hard to find part numbers on the OEM site, actually located in suspension section, go figure)
04947 0W020 Front
04948-0W040 Rear

Brembo
https://www.brembostore.com
Use the Lexus Rotor part number and search Brembo site to get the Rotor can save $50 to $90 directly Brembo.

Front Pads, again use the part number, I found a super cheap spot for Brembo front pads on ebay here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Lexus-G...72.m2749.l2649
Yes they are legit Brembo Pads

I still cannot find the Brembo Rear Pads so went with some regular aftermarket ceramic version online
If you know a Brembo part number maybe can find them but the Lexus number didn't find anything,

For the Rear Caliper Adapter I went here:

Hope that helps. The orange Calipers are on back order from Lexus I am waiting until June 16th for mine.

Thanks brother for the info and can't wait to see yet after you install them.

I wish you can weight them all together ( calipers only ) to see the weight of them and compare the to IS350 calipers weight.

Thanks again

Here is the scale, these are huge, the caliper is right up against my face.

Here is the 350PHI.com adapters on the rear calipers. They are pretty good quality and the kit comes with all the hardware.
If you gonna mount these brakes get this kit.

scale of these calipers.

I guess I own them for good now.

When you use the adapter brackets you need to remove some of the caliper's mounting flange for it to fit next to the car's knuckle mount.
It's all in the directions.

Before

After

Wow those calipers are massive lmao. If you get a chance, can you measure the difference in how much the new setup protrudes out vs the stock F Sport 4 piston calipers? I’m curious as to whether my BBS wheels would clear these RC-F calipers since they barely clear the stock F Sport ones. The rears I know would be fine for pretty much anyone as there is a ton of space haha.
