Your under seat vents are asymmetrical. Find the side that flares out and slide the duct over that side, then pivot it to slide over the rest of the vent. They are made to be super tight so the air doesn’t escape.

Got mine today, they look good but they don't fit on my vent. Was it hard for you guys to put it on? How does it fit, does it slide over the vent? Mine literally won't fit, it seems like it's too tight and I tried different orientations as well and nothing worked. Literally sweating my *** off outside to get these to fit lol

As was stated above, try getting a corner of the HVAC vent inside the 3d printed duct, and then swivel it inside the duct.

Yeah, I struggled a bit on the passenger side, but the driver’s side went on much easier. May have just gotten lucky on the driver’s side and inserted the correct edge first.
Happy it’s a snug fit, won’t be sliding off easily.

These work amazingly. You don't really need to wait as long anymore after A/C is on. If you want full effect, put A/C towards the floor. Not sure about the back but the bottom of your seat is icyy.

To put it on easier, as he said, you have to swivel it, but you can press down on the car's plastic vents to kinda push it in. Nice tight fit, no loss of air. Thanks man!

After using these vents for a week, they definitely work and make a big difference, especially when the car has been sitting outside in the sun. As many IS owners have reported, the back cooling fan motor has a tendency to heat up when in use. I only noticed this issue when my interior had cooked for a very long time, but others have experienced it every time they use the cooled seat function. With these vents, the seat bottoms cool off immediately and the back motors no longer heat up, and after 5-10 minutes the back ventilation is noticeably cold. A big thank you to @ihateu3!!

Received mine last week, I’ve got to agree with others here. It made a world of difference, thank you! My car had been out in the baking sun, I used the remote start before I headed out and once I got in, within 5min, my seats were nice and cold. Not luke warm, not cool, but cold. I preset everything before I got, as I normally do, and bam! Driving regularly with the vented seats on you notice it as well, it’s actually cooler. Thanks again!

For those of you who are using the 3D printed duct, does it perform noticeably better than the cell phone box hack?

not trying to knock the cellphone box hack but this 3d print directly fires air conditioning into the fan. the cell phone box probably has cold air circulate there more which probably does the job.

but i did notice, the back of my chair still remains warm when it's hot out. bottom of the seat is ice cold though.

These ducts work great! The seat bottoms are neatly instantly ice cold! It doesn't affect the backs, but that's too be expected. Installed in three minutes.

I received mine a couple of days ago after PM'ing @ihateu3 late last week. Couldn't be happier with the shipping time or quality of product.

Default I gotta get these!

I joined the group yesterday so that I could PM and get these, but, it won't let me PM yet.
Living in Central Florida is just BRUTAL (Oct 17 was 95 heat index) and I could REALLY use a colder seat! HAHA!
Not sure when it'll allow me to message, but, I'm seriously motivated for this mod!!!
