AC cooled seats 3d printed duct

AC cooled seats 3d printed duct
As with others, I have issues with the poorly designed seat ventilation on these cars. I modeled up a quick and dirty duct for redirecting the rear seat passenger air ducts towards the front seat ventilation fan. The elbow fits inside the duct rather than outside, with the thought that any small amount of bypassed air would provide some air for the back passenger.
In the pictures, the seat is in the fully up position, it can go no higher. I personally sit with my seat fully on the floor, so as you can see, that puts the fan directly over the printed duct. Even if you do not sit with your seat fully on the floor, the duct is blowing directly in the fan.

You will want to print this cover in ABS to withstand the interior automotive temps. I have also provided a link to my store if you do not have a printer, or are unable to print in ABS. You can also directly message me if you would rather do that instead of my store.

Should be printed in this orientation

I’ve paid and should be receiving mine Friday (tracking provided). Give him some time, remember this isn’t his full time job. I’ll try to update everyone when I receive them.

kk, good to know, he was answering promptly and then disappeared so I got a bit worried. I'll edit my post, thanks for the heads up.

Mine arrived and they are fantastic! I feel a noticeable difference in the cooling performance of the seats, however my car was not very hot so I will update everyone once I’ve had more time to test. Thanks again to “ihateu3” for his efforts on this one!!
