Default Best IS Tune?

I have a 15 IS350 F Sport and looking to get a little more out of her. So I am looking at the available tunes and it seems like D3 and RR are the two best options currently on the market. I have a cat-back Joe-Z Exhaust and decided not to do the headers. I want to get the cold-air intake and then tune, RR seems to be the veteran and favorite around here but saw D3 tune come up recently and wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with them or which do they prefer/recommend?

Dont waste your money! Bang for the buck is NOT worth it. Not much gain on the 350s.

that's my opinion too, the idea was great but just couldn't justify.

Maybe with headers and full exhaust/ intake they say 45hp...thats significant but can't do headers in CA nor would I want that kind of setup. Without those things it was like 10-15 hp...eh not worth it.

But OP said wanted "a little more" out of it, and since there aren't many options I guess that's one way to do it.
But for $500, I'd put it towards the looks of the car like wheels or tech.

I wouldn't waste the money.

These cars are not fast, and without forced induction, never will be fast.

If you want a little bit faster, the RR racing tune will do it. It's not going to turn a 350 into a M3 fighter or anything, it only add about 10WHP. But it makes that extra 10WHP all across the rev range and if you have a AWD IS the 7200RPM redline takes a little chunk out of the 0-60 - 1/4 times. IMO you might as well if your doing a intake/exhaust.

You won't get much power with any tune out of NA Lexus V6 engine.

I have the 350 and have had the tune for 40k miles. Save your 500$.

You will only get the full benefit of the tune if you go cat back exhaust + headers. Which in that case Tune $500 + Any decent catback ($1500+) + Headers ($1000 + $700 +labor) for 280whp......not worth it for all that

I'd say that, in that case, the exhaust is probably more worth it for the added sound.

I'd also agree that the tune makes far more sense if you have an IS 300 AWD, where you basically get 350 levels of power for a fraction of the upcharge.

Heard people say that in the RWD with 8 speed the tune causes the transmission to slip..
