RSR Down Springs with RCF / GSF bushings inner tire wear after
#16
I say this for a couple reasons:
- The suspension is modified with lowering springs and the GSF/RCF bushings (the bushings are actually used for Caster adjustment if the alignment was out)
- The wheels have spacers, which alters the steering angles slightly by pushing the wheels further out
For 2015 the 3IS has 4 sets of alignment specs, as follows (regardless of the engine the vehicle has):
- RWD with 16 inch wheels
- RWD with 17 or 18 inch wheels
- AWD with 16 inch wheels
- AWD with 17 or 18 inch wheels
If your car didn't come with the 16 inch wheels, then they need to use option #4.
Out of the 4 options, the Camber and Caster vary slightly, but the Toe is the same.
Since the issue here with the tire wear is Toe related, they really couldn't go wrong no matter what option they chose.
Just make sure they use the correct specs on the next alignment...hopefully with my suggestion of more Toe In.
