There's currently a great deal going on at Bell Lexus for the RCF/GSF bushings (48075-24010 and 48076-24010).
  • Use coupon "SHIPLEXUS" for Free Shipping over $75 (Dec. 1 through Dec. 12)
  • Dealer discount automatically added
  • Extra 10% off December 2020 automatically added

https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsda...807524010.html

Cost me $100.12 out the door including shipping.

I was looking for this. Do most people replace both bushings or just the front one?

The two front ones.

I did this 2 weeks after buying my IS. It’s a must.

How much did it end up costing, if you don't mind me asking.

Install only takes about 30 min I paid around 50$ labor and I’m in Canada, bought parts off a Lexus dealer that sells on eBay, paid around $150 for the actual parts.

Self-install shouldn't take more than an hour even if you've never really done much with cars before. Just need a torque wrench so you can torque back to spec when putting things together.

Don't be like me and not have a 22mm when you have everything else taken apart, real PITA putting everything back together and totally made me consider paying a shop to do it. Also, if you do take it to a shop, they'll want to charge 3 hours (book calls for taking off control arms) so try to explain to them exactly how you can slide these off with a pry bar.

Yeah, you can always schedule a repair/installation with the dealership AFAIK, just be prepared to be charged for it.

This doesn't completely remedy the inner tire wear issue, but I've heard it does help a little due to lesser toe-in toe-out.

good advice, it does show 3 hours in their computer. Before signing an estimate make sure they note in there they will evaluate and charge based on actual labor. Likely have to pay 1 hour.

Is this video the right way to change out the bushing? If it is, it sure helped me made up my mind to not DIY.

Zhifan1 Lol that is the craziest way of changing the LCA bushings. I’m surprised he didn’t drop the engine and tranny to do this lmao 😂
