^^ I agree, I had them on my 2019 RC and part of the reason I didn't go with the Dynamic Handling Package - this is a personal thing but I never been a fan of black wheels

Different strokes! If anybody in the Ontario area feels the same way about the black wheels that came with their Dynamic Handling Package, I've got the 2021 F Sport gunmetal wheels pictured above and some cash to give you

^^ I totally agree, taste is purely subjective!! That being, the other thing that made me stay away from the DHP is that you can't order a white interior, even in the US, if you have that package - I suspect that will carry over on the IS500 which would be a deal breaker. I don't want all black and they went overboard with the red. I am not sure why they couldn't have applied the red in the same locations as they did the white?! I digress

Something I'm also noticing about the IS is that it's been a while since I've had a car that when I get out and walk away from it, I turn back to get another look. It's a really, really good looking car IMO. I just came from a MK7 VW GTI that I modded like crazy and although it was a fantastic car, I just didn't have that kind of connection with it. I guess I just connect with Japanese styling so much more that European.

I'll gladly duplicate-post to brag about the 2021 IS 350 F Sport I picked up today! Traded in the 2020 GLI on it - I just wasn't feeling the VW vibes anymore and wanted to get back to the Lexus family. Suffice to say it's stunning and has left me happier than I thought I'd be. Cheers.
I guess you guys will see my face for the first time lol!

Congrats! That's a perfect spec for this car. That looks like the same spec as the car I originally wanted to test-drive. It sold while my wife and I were at the dealer. They are going fast.
The GTI and GLI are fun, and I felt the same as you though - after a while, they get old somehow. Funny enough, tires matter a lot on those VWs as well. They changed my GTI's handling from "meh" to fantastic. The GLI never burned through a set of tires, but I'd expect the same if I ever did replace them. I will miss driving them but maybe not the overall ownership experience. They are hard to beat for the money however.
Congrats! Car looks awesome. Almost grabbed the same colour combo but ended up with white on red. Also coming over from VW land ('17 GTI) and couldn't be happier. The GLI/GTI are great cars and I enjoyed the time in mine very much, but something just left me a little cold. Can't really explain it. The new IS is such a good looking car and is a ton more agile than I was expecting. Just needs a good set of tires and it's a pretty compelling package overall. Enjoy!

Was looking up pictures of lowered IS350's for a friend and stumbled onto this. Don't shoot the messenger. Lol. Just thought I'd share...
