Where did you hear about Japan having trouble shipping DHPs. I pre-ordered my DHP back in October,hope it won't take long since my Lease will be up next month.
the sales guy (one of three, seemed the most knowledgeable as he is also an IS fanatic) was saying there is a 4 month minimum lead time on DHP models right now due to only 1/4th of what they thought they could ship being accepted through the ports. He showed me their database and there were only like 4 blue IS 350 DHPs in the entire country and they were all already spoken for. I don't remember all the details about the logistics issues, but it had something do with the carbon fiber in the spoiler. You might not get yours until feb.

Oh ok, my sales rep also told me it's a 4 month wait time but not about the carbon spoiler problem. I happen to pre order a blue one too. Thanks for the clarification.
To those that have their new IS, how’s the interior? Is it cramped?
I currently have a the more recent mustang. I was thinking about getting the new IS. I’m just wondering how it compares to the ecoboost mustang in all aspects, space-wise, ride quality, engine sound, etc.

I wish lexus would have made the chrome trim around the windows to be black for the fsport as they had with the black grille trim. It's especially noticeable on dark color trims like the caviar or cloudburst, although the chrome blends well with the iridium/atomic silver.
I just noticed in the pics, are the front and rear turn signals still incandescents? I thought them being incandescent on the first model year of the 3IS was a bit outdated (even by 2014 standards) for a luxury mark, but if they still are in 2021, it makes you wonder why they are holding on to them? I could be totally wrong, and they are LED, but in the pics they look incandescent, and that's why I am asking lol.
