Just added a 2022 to the garage for the wife. Happy to have an IS back in the stable! First order of business is to swap out the bulbs to LEDs. What a difference. Surprised Lexus didn’t go all LEDS by now.

I agree with you on the lighting. If you want the bright-white look, I think all you'd need to do would be to swap the foot well and door lights out - unlike in my wife's BMW where pretty much every light inside the car is soft white.

This car has been begging me to wash it all week. I finally got around to it this morning. It turns out washing in the morning means that it's cooler, which means I have more patience! I spent almost 2 hours on this.

Thanks! We're on the same wavelength re: LEDs. I swapped the lights you mentioned and trunk and left everything else alone.

Thank you for the well wishes! I love driving the GS but the IS feels like home. Interior is shrink wrapped around the driver and in the latest update, the engine/exhaust seem to have a deeper tone (even with ASL off) than I remember vs. my 2015 IS350 or the GS. 2021+ IS is such a looker too. Pity for me, my wife will be driving it most of the time!

A very GOOD day! It wasn’t excruciatingly hot and I spent it with great folks. I was a good leader-follower, but I should’ve ‘shown out’ like Shady with his IS F. 😜

Had to get mine transferred from another dealership 1500 miles away but here it is… 2022 DHP in Caviar. I added H&R Spacers and bolts along with RSR down springs for a more aggressive fitment and the F-Sport Performance Exhaust.
Really similar to my build.. I went with 20" spacers all around, RSR Down springs as well and NIA Body kit, and Remark Exhaust.. 2022 DHP In Cloudburst.. Just got my chrome delete done, and will be adding my LowGlow kit this weekend, why I haven't taken recent pics.
I haven't seen people refinish their BBS wheels on here and I can understand why. These wheels are VERY expensive, like 2400$ (Canadian) per wheel so I can see people not want to diminish their value. People that want this car with this package, usually want the BBS finish but personally, I am not a black wheel person. I love the spoke pattern on the BBS wheels, it's just the fact they are black that made me consider other options and again, this trend of black wheels is widespread so it is not easy to avoid it. If I was you and you wanted the DHP but don't want the BBS, I would instead buy the OEM wheels from the IS 350 as the gunmetal finish in Canada is quite sublime to be honest, and then sell the BBS wheels. For example, the OEM wheels list for about 495$ but I had them for cheaper so that is what I would do if you wanted the DHP and don't like black wheels.
I personally have the DHP and knew that the wheels that came w/ it were the BBS wheels, but didn't realize the benefit of them (weight) until I added spacers and really felt how much LIGHTER they were than other wheels.. These wheels are 4 lbs lighter yet still maintain their strength. That's really what you're paying for.. Even when I upgrade/change my wheels to something stylish for the build, I'll keep these BBS wheels for potentially tracking my car. They're just so light.. They aren't just black either, they're a matte black, so they really look good if you're trying to go for that "stealth" look (which I'm entertaining currently). I love the spoke pattern as well, but yes, will eventually upgrade just to look different than others that purchased the DHP as well.
I have some titanium lug bolts with T70 heads from Acerlite going on when I get back in town. I picked the car up from the Audi dealership in Lubbock last Friday and drive it home to Tulsa/Collinsville, OK, what a great drive.
