Default Badges?

I want to de-badge our 2021 IS, can anyone tell me if there are holes anywhere under them or will it be smooth? I plan to remove the rear trunk lid badges and the fender badges.

Fender badges have holes behind them. The IS XXX does not, mine didn’t have the rear F Sport badge, but I don’t think it has holes either.

I assume this is still true for newer models.

Years ago I sold a used car and the guest asked politely if we would remove our Dealership sticker from the trunk lid.
Of course we would, would the plate frame be OK? Peel off the sticker to discover the Original New Car dealer had
affixed their dealership plaque by drilling two holes and forcing the metal badge on! My guys had slapped the vinyl
label over the holes... Bit of a charge back on that caper.

drilling a hole on a brand new car for just a dealership badge... that is very disgusting

I thought that practice ended decades ago. I'd have to get legal on the dealership.
