Default Autel 508 Aftermarket Sensors Please Help

I purchsed a set of new summer wheels and tires and the tpms installed are after market, will the autel 508 read those sensors to program them? Or is there a better tpms tool out there?

If they are Autel branded TPMS they should be able to be read. If they are kinda universal you can give it a try, I bought a kit but haven't used it yet.

The TPMS system has been a thorn in my side for years but I have slowly researched and learned as much as I could. The simple and cheapest way to swap between summer and winter tires is to purchase the Ateq Quickset. I used this for a few years but its sole function is switching between a winter and summer set of TPMS (I plan to sell mine shortly if you are interested).
I recently (last week) purchased an Autel TS508 because I will need to setup new sensors but have not used it yet. I can confirm it reads Lexus/Toyota factory sensors and I understand it will read most aftermarket sensors that have a pre-programmed ID. The issue comes when programming new sensors, they must be Autel MX sensors. The TS508 cannot program (write) new IDs to other aftermarket sensors.
If you are still confused, I recommend reaching out to Autel directly. They were very helpful when I was researching.

I haven't ordered it yet, but I am going to use Carista to program the sensors once I get the sensor codes read.
