I've been in an interesting position with my IS 350 F Sport, as my wife's car is a pretty similar car, a 330i with the M Sport package. I was thinking the IS is much more relaxed than the 330i, but man... I think the Q50 is even more soft and relaxed than the IS. I got to drive a Q50 3.0T rental for a very limited time, and found it to be quiet and comfortable. However, the steering and handling are certainly more comfort-oriented in that car than the IS. The IS strikes a nice balance between something that's sporty like the 330i M Sport and something more laid-back like the lower-trim Q50 models. I do think the Q50 would be sweet on long highway drives, and the power is honestly pretty great. However, I'd counter by saying the BMW feels equally powerful (even if the numbers don't suggest it) due to the way the transmission and engine respond so rapidly. The Q50's engine sounds good, too.
I think I prefer to have more edge on the back roads, so I would obviously pick either the BMW or the Lexus over the Infiniti, but I could see how someone would like it. It's spacious, comfortable, and fast, which is a good combo.
Infiniti's tend to depreciate faster than Lexus as well. Underneath it's having a Nissan vs. having a Toyota.
The Q50 has Renault parts under the hood. SavageGeese did a video on the Q50 Red Sport (or was it the Q60?) and the build quality was lacking. There was a section of underbody where it looked like someone took a brush and smeared sealant all over the place haphazardly.

Oof, even worse.
Pictures 3 and 4 are supposed to show a comparison between the 2 interiors. It helps when the writer uses the proper Lexus interior. Not sure which car he used for the Lexus, but that's not the IS interior. Maybe a UX or NX.

There's a big difference between my wife's 330i and my IS 350, that's for sure. The BMW gets up and goes from a dead stop like no one's business. There's barely turbo lag at all, and the gearing is very aggressive in first and second gear. However, I will say the IS 350 feels satisfying to rev out. It also is a bit smoother in daily driving. Different cars for different preferences. The BMW may be faster but not by a huge margin.
