Question Who makes Lexus Paint?

I purchased a nebula grey IS 350 mid pandemic last year, and got a nice discount because I noticed the front and rear bumpers had been re-painted at some point. In certain low light the front bumper is a terrible mismatch and the rear is pretty dull.
I'm finally ready to have a great local body shop re-paint the bumpers properly, and I want to be ready to purchase the paint myself, as I've heard most body shops will require that if the customer is as picky as I am.
In short, I'd like to know who makes the paint that Lexus uses so I can have as close of a color match as possible, and satisfy my OCD once and for all.

Why not just procure the actual OEM paint? I'm sure the shop who's going to do the work can also order factory paint colors.

If you want a close color match you would need to have the shop spray a couple shades of the paint code (not sure of the proper term) and match it with the car. A good shop would most likely ask you to leave your car for a day max. Lots of factors can play into the shade so a paint code alone may not do it justice. I got my front bumper paint matched and that was what the shop told me and results were amazing.

I’m not an expert, and I could be wrong.
I thought that the state of the art was to read
the paint with an instrument and use the data
to customize the paint for repair. This corrects for
any aging of the existing finish. I’m pretty sure that
is how they painted my new bumper in Caviar. Looks
perfect.
