The refreshed 2021 IS has plenty to offer for enthusiasts.

I agree on the infotainment front. The 10.3-inch screen is a stunner in and of itself, but then you add Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The wife's BMW has a smaller screen (in spite of it having basically the same MSRP), but it does have wireless AA/ACP. That would put the IS over the top, should it be added.

I also just want to say, Infrared is gorgeous. I saw one in person a few weeks ago and liked the looks of that color a lot.

Wireless AA/ACP is nice but the connectivity is not as consistent as a wired setup.

Agreed on the infotainment. I hate that Lexus took until 2020ish to get Android Auto and Car Play. But I guess a reason to look forward to upgrading in the future!

My Lexion unit has both wired and wireless AA/CarPlay. Glad Lexus finally has it in the cars at least. I love the larger screen as well.

Cool article. Still find it kind of interesting that the IS300 AWD has basically identical 0-60 and 1/4 mile times than the RWD IS350 (at least according to a few publications) . Would love to get them back to back on a dyno. If that's the case they're either sandbagging the 350 RWD or being way conservative on the 300 AWD.
