Sorry if this is a dumb question.. but did you also swap out the front turn signals?? I thought those are already LED?

No. You are correct. The front is already LED.

Just swapped out the bulbs to the Sirius LED bulbs and man, it is night and day. I absolutely love it. The color of the bulbs even matches the other bulbs installed on the car. A word of advice to anyone doing it though, make an effort to tape the edge of the twilight, especially the edge under the light that belongs to the bumper. I accidentally managed to do a small nick in the pain there and I’m going to buy some touch up paint to touch it up. Other than that, it was flawless. I would also suggest putting some straps of tape on the side to pull the taillights out. And lastly, I’d suggest unhooking the harness from the small hook that it has, in order to be able to install the new bulb. Once it’s in, you can put the harness back on the hook.

I'm sorry to hear that you nicked your paint. When I removed the rear tail lights I used tons of blue tape. Recently I bought a 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec with the Advance package. I'm going through all of these silly LED stuff again. On Tuesday I finish by adding the rear LED turn signals to the tail lights and LED Acura logo projectors to the doors lol. It's always scary removing the rear tail light housings for the first time.....

Just swapped my interior and trunk lights out! I opted for a warmer 3000K LED as opposed to the 6000K. I really like it! Only gripe is that I wish I could match the exact dome light color OEM from Lexus..
Left is OEM amber, right is 3000K LED.

Yeah, that LED is too harsh for the interior, like walking into an operating room.

Alright so heres the best way to explain it.
For a full LED swap this is what you need:
  • Interior:
  1. One (1) 194/168 (its the same bulb) LED bulb for the trunk
  2. Two (2) 194/168 for the sun visors (one on each side)
  3. Two (2) 194/168 for the front footwells (one on each side, and this one was by far the most annoying to change. I struggled to remove the bulb out of these. I ended up having to use a needle nose plier.)
  4. Two (2) 194/168 bulbs for the door panel entry illumination (one on each side. The mechanism on this one is interesting. There are like two covers that you have to remove to actually remove the bulb.)
For all of these, bear in mind that polarity is at play, so I would suggest just slightly sliding them into the socket, not fully inserted, and see if they turn on. If they don't, flip it. If that doesn't work, your bulb is dead.
  • Exterior
    1. Two (2) 7440A or 7443A bulbs for the LED turn signals in the rear. The A at the end means it is amber, which is what you need since it is a clear housing. You don't need more than the 7440 since it is a single filament bulb, but if you use a 7443, nothing is wrong with that. 7443 bulbs are double filament, typically for a bulb that is on during the day as a DRL, and then full brightness when the turn signal is on. They tend to cost more, so using a 7443, the only drawback is that you pay a bit more for something you don't need. You could use the Zevo bulbs in order to get the quality of a name brand, but unfortunately as others have tested, even with the triple beams, they hyperflash in the rear. That would require installing a resistor. If you wish to for-go having to do that all together, the best thing you can do is get the SiriusLED bulbs which have a resistor built in. Another member tested them, and I have them in mine, and there is no hyperflashing whatsoever. And they are super bright.
    2. Two (2) LED bulbs for the turn signals in the front. My car came with the triple beams so I didn't need this and don't feel comfortable providing advice on these. But I'm pretty sure it would just be a 7440A bulb since I don't recall that bulb being on at all if the turn signal isn't activated.
Hope this helps.

Yeah they are. And they are pretty bright too. The dome lights of the car are also LED already. One thing I forgot to mention in the previous post, that I had mentioned before is, make sure to use LOTS of tape around the rear taillight when pulling them out. You don't want to risk damaging the bumper!

It’s a guy called Leon Carbon Fiber on Instagram. He basically buys stuff off AliExpress and resells it. But his prices aren’t terrible. $35 shipped. But he is sold out until next month.
