Tail Lights Out
Anyone ever have issues with just their tail lights going out? Brake lights still work. Dealership keeps trying to blame my aftermarket remote start, which I've had for years, and my subs, which this issue came about months after I had them installed.
Lights are still good, but the fuse keeps popping. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Any time you have aftermarket electrical stuff, especially done by others, flies can end up in the ointment. You need to backtrack and reverse trace every single action every installer did on your car to the wiring. Somewhere along the line someone messed something up. Likely a short.

If the fuse is popping then there is an over amperage issue...typically a short to ground.
Assuming the subs are not connected to the taillight circuit, that only leaves the remote starter.
For ease of diagnosis, disconnect the taillight wire from the remote starter so the circuit is back to a stock configuration.
If the fuse stops blowing, then there's your answer.
The taillight circuit is super simple, so I would also guess it might be the remote starter.
I know you've said it's been in their for years...my personal experience with remote starter failures is that they occur down the road, not when the unit is newly installed.
If you've had it for years and it's now developed an issue, no big surprise there.
