That's great to hear.

Unfortunately, most dealer body shops are high volume shops and cut corners. My car was repaired on the rear passenger arch when the previous owner rubbed up against a pillar. Just a paint scrape, no dents. They left sanding marks and the paint is peeling now. I am getting it fixed in the spring. This was the Lexus dealer's subcontracted body shop. PO paid around a grand.

I got hit once at low speed 5 MPH tops. 7g claim, new headlight and fender all the rest labor, clips, paint and materials. Some crappy shop would have fixed it for 2gs. Repair bumper, paint fender blend hood and door and A pillar back to the quarter. My shop replaced every single clip and retainer since they are supposed to be one time use only.

What did they end up replacing and redoing? You happy with it?

Sorry to hear that-- I was showing you how the bumper was sitting. The driver side is sticking out slightly and makes a noise (I posted a video), seems like it's rubbing on the fender. The passenger side sits perfectly with no issues. I asked them about the bumper bracket but I'm not sure if they changed it at all. Wanted your opinion (or anyone else) who wanted to chime in

Did they replace the fender bracket? I watched your video a few times, the passenger side flexes but the drivers side sounds suspect.

Remember your original pctures? I wonder if the the sheetmetal behind the bumper where they mount is bent.

Honesty, I think you lucked out since your drivers quarter was not really touched aside from where the bumper mounts. It might just be some fine tuning to get it to sit right Maybe eve DIY if you have a rubber mallet and some patience? .

But yeah, I can see that gap and would be annoyed too, but you have pearl white car so if the paint match is good, i would be happy with that since pearls and metallic are hard to match.
